WCST helping Food for Others
- WHO: Annandale Neighborhood Food Site, a Food for Others (Merrifield) community food distribution location, at Immanuel United Methodist Church (next to H Mart on Heritage/a block from Annandale High School.) Food for Others often experiences food shortages, and the Annandale site is seriously short on food. The Annandale food site helps many FAMILIES, with young children attending local elementary schools, Annandale Terrace and Braddock, in addition to Poe and Annandale High School.
- WHAT: Look at the list of suggested items. We realize we have many in our own community who have been affected by the downturn in the economy, but this outreach is helping those in critical need of food with young children.
- WHEN: PLEASE bring a donation to practice. We will have a donation box at practice every day for the next few weeks.

Welcome to the 2010 WCRA Tennis Program
Summer tennis is upon us already. The Pre Team and Junior Tennis will begin Monday, June 28. We have not received the junior match schedule yet but will put it up on the website as soon as I get it from Northern Virginia Tennis League. In the mean time, please fill out the registration form that is already on the website and send in your paperwork so that we can get started setting up the clinics for the different age groups. We have many new families and I hope to have more children in the tennis program to round out WCRA tennis team.
